Seal and Lake Safaris

On our seal safaris you get to know the world’s most endangered seal that can be found only in lake Saimaa. We drive with comfortable open safari boats through Linnansaari National Park. We watch the seals from a distance and make sure that we do not disturb the animals. We also have a coffee break during the safari. You can also order an outdoor meal catering service.

Starting place: Oravi and Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän (please choose the "pick up" option if you wish to start from Järvisydän)
Availability: from May to September, check the calendar on the webshop for departures
Group size: 1-12 persons/boat (max 2 boats at the same time)

Sightseeing safari with open boat / boats in  Linnansaari National Park. The first stop is at Linnavuori Rock,  where we you get a great view over one of the most beautiful places in the Finnish lakeland.  After Linnavuori we drive to Sammakkoniemi  and make a short walk to the crofter's cottage.  At the croft you will learn more about traditional life on the island. We have a cup of coffee before driving back to Porokylä.

Wildernes lunch and/ or guided nature walk can be added to the tour.
